Henry Thomas Alken (1785-1851) fue un pintor y grabado inglés, especializado en aguafuertes, conocido por ser un gran ilustrador y caricaturista de temas deportivos y sesiones de entrenamiento.
Entre los títulos a los que pertenecen estas estampas se cuentan :
